The product
What are invisible grills?
An invisible grill is a set of stainless-steel wire ropes stretched across a balcony, window or open void and locked into aluminium channels at each end. Each rope is pulled to tension separately, and the ropes are spaced close enough that a small child or pet cannot pass between them. The ropes can run vertically (floor to ceiling) or horizontally (wall to wall), whichever suits the opening and the household.
Materials we use
We install SS 316 marine-grade stainless-steel wire rope with a clear nylon coating, in 2 mm, 2.5 mm or 3 mm thickness depending on the width of the opening. The ropes are spaced 2 inches apart as standard, and closer where pigeons are the main concern. Each rope sits in an anodised aluminium channel at either end, and the channels are fixed with stainless-steel anchor fasteners into the RCC slab, beam or column — never into plaster. Ropes can be laid vertically or horizontally, and each one is tensioned on its own so it can be re-tightened on a service visit.

Benefits
Benefits of invisible grills in Uttarahalli
Protection for little ones
A 2-inch gap between ropes stops toddlers slipping through, and vertical ropes give nothing to climb.
No rust in the monsoon
Marine-grade 316 stainless with a nylon coat handles Bangalore's two rainy seasons and lake-side damp.
Keeps birds out
Close-set ropes across the whole opening keep pigeons and other birds out of the balcony completely — no droppings, no nests.
Nothing to paint
No welding, no primer, no repainting every few years. A wipe with a damp cloth is all the care it needs.

FAQs
Common questions in Uttarahalli
Can you cover the terrace edge of our Uttarahalli house?
Yes. We check the parapet, fix the channels into solid concrete or brick and space the ropes 2 inches apart, just as on a balcony.
What is the cost of invisible grills in Uttarahalli?
Invisible grills are priced per square foot of the opening; the rate depends on rope thickness, spacing and fixing conditions. We measure your home in Uttarahalli and give a written quote — the visit is free.
How long does installation take in Uttarahalli?
One balcony usually takes a few hours, and most flats in Uttarahalli are finished in a single day.
Are invisible grills safe for children and pets?
Yes. Each SS 316 rope is tensioned separately in aluminium channels fixed into the concrete, and the 2-inch gap is too narrow for a small child or a pet to pass through.
