Balcony Invisible Grills in Bangalore – open views, closed gaps

Balcony invisible grills in Bangalore close the gap above the railing without boxing the balcony in. We run SS 316 ropes from the floor or parapet up to the slab — on straight, corner and wrap-around balconies — so the space stays bright and open and nobody can climb over.

Balcony

Why choose balcony invisible grills in Bangalore

A balcony railing is built to lean on, not to stop a determined three-year-old. Most Bangalore apartment railings stop at about waist height, with a wide open drop above them. A balcony invisible grill fills that gap from railing to ceiling with rope you barely notice from the sofa.

Glass railings are never drilled: the lower channel sits on the floor or the parapet behind the glass. Corner and L-shaped balconies get a continuous run that turns the corner without a post in the middle.

Benefits

Benefits of balcony invisible grills

View from the sofa

Thin ropes disappear at a few steps back — the skyline stays in the room.

Climb-proof above the rail

Vertical ropes from rail to ceiling leave nothing to step on.

Corners without posts

L-shaped and wrap-around balconies covered in one continuous run.

Glass railings untouched

Channels land behind the glass; the glass itself is never drilled.

Planning tip for balconies. If you use the balcony for plants or a swing, tell us on the visit — we position the channels so pots, hooks and drainage outlets are not in the way.

Materials

Materials used for balcony invisible grills

We install SS 316 marine-grade stainless-steel wire rope with a clear nylon coating, in 2 mm, 2.5 mm or 3 mm thickness depending on the width of the opening. The ropes are spaced 2 inches apart as standard, and closer where pigeons are the main concern. Each rope sits in an anodised aluminium channel at either end, and the channels are fixed with stainless-steel anchor fasteners into the RCC slab, beam or column — never into plaster. Ropes can be laid vertically or horizontally, and each one is tensioned on its own so it can be re-tightened on a service visit.

You get the rope grade, gap, fixing method and price in writing. No hidden extras.

  4. Step 4: Installation & check

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Do balcony invisible grills need drilling into a glass railing?

No. On glass-railed balconies we fix the lower channel to the floor or the parapet behind the glass, and the upper channel to the ceiling slab.

Can a corner balcony be covered without a post?

Yes. We turn the run at the corner using the walls and slab for anchoring, so there is no post in the middle of the view.

Will my association approve balcony invisible grills?

Most do, because the outside of the building does not visibly change. We can share the specification and photos for the committee to review.

How long does one balcony take?

Usually a few hours. A flat with two or three balconies is normally finished the same day.
