Each rope sits in an anodised aluminium channel at either end, and the channels are fixed with stainless-steel anchor fasteners into the RCC slab, beam or column — never into plaster. Ropes can be laid vertically or horizontally, and each one is tensioned on its own so it can be re-tightened on a service visit.
